Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) and the Board of Education of Charles County would like input on the 2025-2026 school calendar. The Board of Education approves the school calendar one to two years in advance.

Erica Williams, principal of Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, was named 2024 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Principal of the Year. She is also the CCPS nominee for The Washington Post’s Principal of the Year award.

Davis language arts teacher is 2024 CCPS nominee for The Washington Post’s Teacher of the Year Award
Wendie Newcamp, a language arts teacher at Theodore G. Davis Middle School, is the 2024 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) nominee for The Washington Post’s Teacher of the Year awards program.

Applications are open for the Maryland Corps and the Service Year Option Program, two streams of service created by Gov. Wes Moore’s administration as part of its commitment to public service.
